TipCo Automated Systems (TipCo), an Ohio-based leader in AI-powered solutions for Health and Human Services (HHS) agencies, is partnering with Clermont County Department of Job and Family Services (JFS) in Ohio to positively impact their workforce and the community they serve.

Clermont County JFS is adopting TipCo’s EVA solutions in Medicaid, SNAP, and TANF. EVA, an AI-powered assistant, will work with Clermont County JFS workers to increase staff efficiency, reduce call wait times and expedite application processing, and enhance communication, improving customer service and outcomes for residents.

“Public assistance is a high turnover industry, so our staff was having issues keeping up with the volume of phone calls. We would get anywhere between 150 and 200 calls a day, in addition to other duties,” said Daphne Reeves, Assistant Director, Public Assistance at Clermont County JFS. “With EVA helping to answer calls, it frees up our staff to do in-person work and process documents, impacting staff morale and residents’ access to necessary services.” Since implementing EVA in public assistance, Clermont County JFS has seen a 30% reduction in the number of calls agency staff handles daily, freeing them up to focus on other work.

Implementing an AI-powered solution is especially timely with the volume of calls related to policy changes expected to increase as a result of the new federal budget. EVA is equipped with up-to-date information to ensure residents have a positive customer experience when they call in for assistance. “There are going to be a lot of changes that come with the new legislation,” stated Reeves. “We know people are going to call, and we want to provide them with any information we can about their benefits.”

“At TipCo, we understand the critical role that agencies like Clermont County JFS play in supporting their communities,” said Andrea Tipping, CEO and Co-Founder of TipCo. “Our solutions are designed to ease the burdens on dedicated workforces by automating repetitive tasks and providing self-service options. This allows caseworkers to focus on high-value, meaningful interactions that truly make a difference.

Andrea further expressed her enthusiasm for this milestone, stating, “We are very excited to work with Clermont County JFS, our first partner in our home state of Ohio. We’re inspired by the agency leadership’s forward-thinking approach to technology as it’s going to be crucial for agencies to have the right tools in place to respond quickly to future changes.”

Through this partnership, TipCo is showing real commitment to helping agencies across the country work smarter, connect better with the people they serve, and make a real difference in communities that need it most.
